    Cooper Rush (neck) was listed as a full participant in Thursday`s practice. Advice: The Cowboys adding Rush to Thursday`s injury report is likely them doing their due diligence according to league rules. There have been no reports of Rush dealing with a serious neck injury and the fact he was listed as a full participant should tell us all we need to know. Unless he suffers an unexpected setback Rush should be good to go for Week 11 against the Texans but fantasy managers should look to avoid him even during a tough bye week. Rotoworld Today 5:00 pm

    Luepke (calf) did not practice Thursday Adam Caplan of SiriusXM NFL Radio reports. Advice: Luepke played 23 snaps (14 on offense nine on special teams) during the Cowboys` Week 10 loss to the Eagles but it appears he may have picked up a calf injury in the process. The 24-year-old fullback will have two more chances to return to practice ahead of Monday night`s game against the Texans.     CeeDee Lamb was not listed on Thursday`s injury report. Advice: This is great news for Lamb who battled through a sprained AC joint in the Cowboys` Week 10 loss to the Eagles. The star receiver should be good to go in Monday night`s game against the Texans but expectations should be tempered after last week`s messy offensive performance. Lamb still has plenty of upside as a high-volume receiver but Cooper Rush`s unwillingness to push the ball downfield could result in a lot of short-yardage plays for Lamb.     Ferguson didn`t practice Thursday due to an illness, Adam Caplan of SiriusXM NFL Radio reports.

    SFFL Slant: Ferguson has caught multiple passes in all eight appearances this season en route to a 42-358-0 line on 57 targets. With Dak Prescott (hamstring) out for the season, Ferguson now is on the receiving end of passes from Cooper Rush, but first the tight end will need to get past his current ailment in order to make himself available Monday against the Texans.

    Coach Mike McCarthy called Dowdle the Cowboys` ""lead back"" Thursday, Clarence E. Hill Jr. of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports.

    SFFL Slant: Dallas has operated with a committee approach to its backfield so far this season but ranks 31st in rushing yards per game (83.7). Dowdle has been by far the most productive option, recording 4.5 YPC versus Ezekiel Elliott`s 3.7, Dalvin Cook`s 2.5, Deuce Vaughn`s 2.9 and Hunter Luepke`s 3.2. In eight appearances, Dowdle has averaged 13.4 touches per game, a number that should increase following McCarthy`s comments.
    QB Dak PrescottCowboys` Dak Prescott: Gets surgery Wednesday [1D ago]
    Prescott underwent surgery Wednesday to address the partial avulsion of his right hamstring, David Moore of The Dallas Morning News reports.

    SFFL Slant: According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, Prescott will likely need three months to fully recover from surgery, which means that he should be ready for some, if not all, of the offseason program. With his 2024 season over, he`ll finish with 1,978 yards, 11 touchdowns and eight interceptions on 64.7 percent passing and 13 carries for 54 yards and one touchdown in eight appearances. Cooper Rush will continue to direct the Cowboys offense, but the potential exists for Trey Lance to see time under center or even start at some point over the final eight contests of the regular season.
    WR Jonathan MingoCowboys` Jonathan Mingo: Set to debut in Week 11 [1D ago]
    Mingo is expected to make his Cowboys debut Monday against the Texans, Clarence E. Hill Jr. of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports.

    SFFL Slant: Mingo was acquired from the Panthers last Tuesday but was a healthy inactive for this past Sunday`s loss to Philadelphia. With a full week of prep with his new team, Mingo looks like he`ll be ready for a role in the game plan Monday, though he won`t necessarily be in store for heavy snaps with CeeDee Lamb and Jalen Tolbert ahead of him in the pecking order at receiver.
