Thursday 10:50 am | Bears getting calls for DJ Moore and Tyson Bagent Schultz also named quarterback Tyson Bagent as another player teams have called to trade for. Moore is coming off a dismal year that saw him reach just 682 yards on 50 grabs. This was despite the Bears` offense taking arguably the biggest step in the league from 2024 to 2025. He is now a potential cap casualty though another team could jump the free agency line by acquiring him via trade. The Bears have a stable of young pass-catchers in Rome Odunze Luther Burden and Coleston Loveland. SFFL Slant: Bagent was signed by the Bears as an undrafted free agent out of Shepherd in 2023 and started four games as a rookie completing 94 of 143 passes for 859 yards three touchdowns and six interceptions across five total appearances. He`s attempted just six regular-season passes over the last two campaigns but has looked good during the preseason when on the field. Bagent has two years remaining on his contract at $4 million each season so he`s very affordable and could be a stop-gap option for a rebuilding team. | | | | | |
